Are the earrings viewed as the abominations? from Thomas English's blog

I still go to the Apostolic Church. I saw most real Christian women do not wear those earrings.  I wonder.  Do the earrings link with worshipping the idols ? During Moses's time, Hebrews disobeyed Moses and God's warning against worshipping idols. Guess what ? They used their golden earrings for melting them, and molding into golden bull idol. They worshipping the false god.  

Moses made them stopping wearing the earrings forever no more.  That means they are not allowed to wear the earrings.  God wants them to stay holy for His holy land.
