"I AM" from Abraham Kutty PG's blog

“I AM”

Mat. {16:13} When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

{16:14} And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

{16:15} He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

{16:16} And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Jesus was asking His disciples what peoplewere saying about Him (Jesus). The disciples told Him:

Some say Jesus is John the Baptist.

Some say Jesus is Elias.

Some say Jesus is Jeremias.

Some say Jesus is one of the prophets.

Thank God nobody was there to say that Jesus was the 2nd person of a trinity. People were not aware about trinity, 3 persons, in Jesus’ time as it had not been invented yet. A very good thing, and well understood by the people of that time, was that they believed in only ONE GOD. They only knew about ONE GOD, i.e. LORD, or Jehovah. If a trinitarian were alive in Jesus’ time, they would have been beaten and killed by the public for their false polytheistic doctrine, because the following was the basic and firmly established scripture stamped in every Jew’s heart.

Deut. {6:4} Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:

Isaiah {43:10} Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

{43:11} I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour.

See also the following scriptures:

Luke {5:21} And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

They knew that only God can forgive sins. See?  The Scribes or Pharisees never knew trinity, 3 persons of a god group. Besides this, they also knew that there is only ONE who is Good and that is God. See the following scriptures:

Luke {18:19} And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? None [is] good, save one, [that is,] God.

Romans {3:4} God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;

See :

“God” alone can forgive sins.

“God” only is Good.

“God” is true.

The word “God” is used as “singular”, referring to 1 (one) only.

Exodus {3:4} And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.

{3:5} And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

{3:6} Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

Exodus {3:7} And the LORD said, I have surely seen theaffliction of my people which [are] in Egypt, and haveheard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I knowtheir sorrows;

{3:8} And I am come down to deliver themout of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up outof that land unto a good land and a large, unto a landflowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Exodus {3:13} And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I comeunto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, TheGod of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shallsay to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

{3:14} And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: andhe said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, IAM hath sent me unto you.

This same “I AM” God appeared to Moses in the burning bush, appeared to Abraham, Issac and Jabcob, or the God, in the beginning created heaven and earth, the God we see from Genesis to Malachi, came to this world as “Jesus” and revealed himself, saying that :

John {8:58} Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, “I am”.

Oh! This statement of Jesus was intolerable to the people of Jesus’ time. What did they do?

John {8:59} Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

See, They took up stones to cast at Him. Today also, if we speak this truth, people will take up stones and cast at us. It is because we say and speak the truth that the God of OT is the same God, Jesus, in the NT.

See another statement of Jesus:

John {8:24} I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he,] ye shall die in your sins.

{8:25} Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even [the same] that I said unto you from the beginning.

Jesus clearly says, you will die in your sins, if you are not believing “I am He" . See, the last sentence? He says, Even [the same]… said unto you from the beginning.

Who said from the beginning? In the beginning God created heaven and earth. Gen.1:1. So, this I AM of the “beginning”, standing amidst the people, whom he created through Adam and Eve.

Note here one more thing. There was nobody in Jesus’ time telling Him that He was the second person of a trinity, as the trinitarians say now. This is a later invention by a pagan scholar named Tertullian and a murderer, Constantine, in AD 325.

Therefore, please don’t believe in trinity and perish. Believe in the only “I AM”, LORD JESUS CHRIST, for Salvation.

Acts. {4:12} Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts. {2:38}Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The Disciples understood thatJesus is God. So do we. What about you?

Mat. {1:16} And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Mat. {2:4} And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

Luke {2:11} For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Mat. {16:20} Then chargedhe his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Acts {9:22} But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

Hebrews {11:24} By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

{11:25} Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

{11:26} Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt.

Is anywhere in the Bible mentioned:

“We are the Gods of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob”?

“Don’t be afraid, we are with you”?

“We are with you till the end of the world”?

Foolish and unbiblical trinity doctrine conquered the minds of multitudes to believe in lies and false doctrines of devils, to land them in hell and everlasting destruction.

Dear readers, awake to righteousness and save yourselves from the trinity trap. (Trinity preachers and other false teachers of today)

Nobody in the world could say “I AM”, except Jesus, because, God is only worthy to use that phrase. It means, Jesus is God, the great “I AM” of the Old Testament.
