That is so cool. Did she go to have her babies in private? Is that the norm? I am ignorant about Hens behavior.

That is known as a game hen. They go hide somewhere to hatch their eggs. She was gone for a couple of weeks and we had given her up for gone when she showed up with all those little grey things.

MAKE SOME DUMPLINS!
I have been just giving them the regular chicken food and some special stuff for chicks. Dumplins would be a bit expensive and they probably would not appreciate it anyway.
