Wisdom does not mean spiritual infidelity and fellowship with devils. | Forum

Prov 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

That is one of the most misused verses in the Bible.  Many lukewarm and compromised preachers abuse that verse to justify their own compromise and lukewarmness towards strong truth when it is inconvenient for them.  There is nothing wise about lukewarmness, spiritual infidelity, or fellowship with false preachers and other devils.

That verse simply means that it is a wise thing to be a soul winner;  it does NOT mean that one is to use the wisdom of the world, fables and compromise to try to win souls.  Let's look at what the Bible does mean.

2Tim 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2Tim 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

In season and out of season means when appropriate and when not appropriate.

Take care
