Samuel Pickens, I have never heard that before. I found what you said to be very interesting.

I'm a bit of a history buff. Name says it all. Mel Gibson in the movie Patriot played Andrew Pickens (famous line - all I need is two shots). The founding father's government was The Confederacy and lasted 12 years. The founding fathers were stoutly against the constitution but forced into it. Ben Franklin said, it would be your worst nightmare. I have many of the founder's quotes..... they were against the Jesuits moving in - and, along with them; foreign overthrew the founding father's government for a constitutional form - a government of change.

The name "Tea Party" suggest going back to the founding father's government. By 1840 folks were burned out with the constitutional form of government and wanted to go back to the founding father's government - had nothing to do with slavery. Now it seems folks don't know how we came by a constitutional form of government.
