All Apostolics are familiar with basic Holiness but many are missing the mark in this hour. Beware the leaven of the UPC and other organizations many of whom have been commending themselves and measuring themselves by themselves for generations. That stunts spiritual growth and advancement.
The phrase "we dare not" appears only once in the entire KJV Bible.
II Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
I trust that most are already familiar with the verses that command modesty but I will call your attention to something many have missed.
Genesis 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons
Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Aprons were inadequate to satisfy God so God made them coats.
Have you EVER seen a short sleeved coat? Short sleeved shirts are unholy. They are underwear, including short sleeved T-shirts.
If you want Biblical Holiness then hearken and repent. Also it is not some pastors job to determine what is holy as some would have you to believe. It is the pastors job to show you from the BIBLE what is holy and what is not.
Let this phrase burn in your heart: "Have you EVER seen a short sleeved coat?"
Keep praying folks!
