Some have rejected Acts 2:38 once too often.
It continues to astound me, even after all these years, of that hatred that some false-christians have for Jesus Name and Jesus Name baptism as they wallow in trinity polytheism, and how so many will cling to a handful of misunderstood verses that they think justify their trinity polytheism. They take one or two verses as an excuse to reject the plethora of clearly understandable verses that declare monotheism.
I hope that all reading here can see through the popular lie that somehow the teaching of three separate person beings is not really polytheism.
There are some who have rejected the Acts 2:38 message once too often.
II Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
The true Christian loves the truth!
II Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
II Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
Three thousand baptised in Jesus name, on the birthday of the new testament church.
Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
