Here we have the birth of the new testament church when the Baptism of the Holy Ghost was first given.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing

mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Let us look back and establish who was present in the Upper Room.

Looking back we see that Jesus told a crowd of people that they all should not depart from Jerusalem until they all were baptised with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me.

Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Then the whole crowd watched Jesus go up into the sky.

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Also here is another verse confirming Jesus as Jehovah Savior and debunking all of the trinity garbage with just one verse.

1Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Then the crowd returned to Jerusalem.

Acts 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

The crowd that Jesus had commanded to wait for the Holy Ghost went into the Upper Room and were numbered at about 120.

Acts 1:13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James [the son] of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas [the brother] of James.

Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Note the above verse that Jesus had physical brothers.

Acts 1:15  And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

Notice that we have followed the crowd from when Jesus told them to all wait in Jerusalem until they received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  We see that the crowd was numbered at about 120 and included Mary.  These people had been commanded by Jesus to WAIT for several days, and they had just seen Him go up into the sky.

The book of Acts then gives the account of another Apostle being selected to replace Judas.  There is NO MENTION of any of the 120 leaving the Upper Room.  Jesus had told them to wait, "not many days" and who would have left while another Apostle was being selected?

Then we see that all those 120 that Jesus had promised the Holy Ghost to,  did receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and that they ALL (including Mary) spoke in "other tongues" when they received the Holy Ghost (soon after Matthias was named as the 12th Apostle)

Acts 1:26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

The crowd (of 120) were ALL together in one place.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

120 people INCLUDING Mary the mother of Jesus were filled with the Holy Ghost and ALL spoke in tongues when they received the Spirit of Christ.
