Unrepentant Bible defying preachers will tell you stuff like, "nobody agrees with everything", as they try to justify their open rebellion against the Word of God. Many will attend such a church for the fellowship and music. But the Word of God says:
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
And let us remember Abner who died the death of a FOOL according to the Word of God.
II Samuel 3:33 And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?
34 Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, so fellest thou. And all the people wept again over him.
It is a long story but basically Abner left the safety of the city of refuge for FELLOWSHIP!
II Samuel 3:27 And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him there under the fifth rib, that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.
Abner thought he was going out for a friendly talk, some fellowship.
God is serious about His Word and His commandments. I believe that God has grown weary of pompous pride engorged preachers setting themselves up as mini-gods with their opinions and traditions weighing above the clearly worded commandments of God.
Again the phrase "we dare not" appears only once in the entire KJV Bible. I call it the UPC verse (though it is certainly not limited to them)
II Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
