-={ Why do trinitos stop with just 3 godlets in their squad? }=-
If I follow the theory that each manifestation of God theologically requires a personager, I find myself in a quandary. For it leads me to a larger quantity of personagers, even including the plant and animal kingdoms. A couple of examples come to mind, and if manifestation does imply personager, I certainly would not want to bypass such a personager as a theological deity, and theoretically thereby possibly incur the potential wrath of an offended co-equal, god squad personager.
Here are some of the examples that I have found:
Exodus 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.
Exodus 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy ground.
Exodus 3:6 Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
* Wow! a plant personager. Why do the trintos ignore the "plant person"?
If they teach that one god rides on another god's right hand, how can they reject the "bush" person that clearly was God?? *
Numbers 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?
* an animal personager *
Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
Exodus 13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before the people.
Exodus 40:38 For the cloud of the LORD [was] upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
* Here, there appears to be two more personagers, one for the day and one for the night; or possibly one personager with more than one manifestation...but that would conflict with the theory that each manifestation demands personality.. so I'll count 2 personagers here.
* I believe that adds up to a total so far (if I add the three to the ones I found) of 8 full fledged personagers! Except, to be perfectly honest I have not had the time to do an in depth search for other personagers, so I do not at all present this list as complete. Nor am I presenting the manifestation=personager theory to be truth, just a theory that I have found interesting to explore since so many are teaching a 3 person god squad. *
* So if each "Spirit" demands personality, I found seven more persons!
Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
* So here are seven more personagers. *
Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
* Another seven "lamp personagers" *
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
* Seven more "eye personagers" *
* As I look at these verses I perceive that we may even have 14 more, or maybe even 21! Which would be fascinating if it turned out that we had over "thirty separate personagers co-equal and co-eternal" instead of just the aforementioned "three separate personagers". *
* I find it fascinating that the different personagers encompass such great diversity from "spirits to plants, animals and clouds, to furniture" I had no idea that there were so many manifestations demanding personality (assuming, of course that each manifestation is a "separate personager"). *
* I look back in wonder at the old hymn, how it would rhyme? "Gawwddd in thirtytwo peerrrrsons blessed '??????'" I am at a loss as to what the term would be. If 3 personagers = "trinity", what would 32 personagers equal? I guess it might be best to wait and see just how many co-equal, co-eternal personagers that we can find, first. And of course after all that, the disclaimer: "These 32 are one"
I can't imagine why the "Catholic lite"<tm> trinity cultists stop at just 3 gods in their "god committee" (but only "one" committee).
I hope this helps...
